About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Tackle performance and scalability challenges for the advertising analytics platform
- Refactor reports to reduce code size and runtime while preserving results
- Manage technical debt while delivering new business features
- Develop using C#, SQL, and occasionally JavaScript/Ruby in a mixed Windows/Linux environment
- Work with AWS, SQL Server, Redshift, Mongo, EntityFramework, and ASP.NET Core
- Participate in a Kanban/DevOps development process with weekly scrums
- Potentially participate in an on-call rotation using PagerDuty
- Advocate for continuous improvement, architecture, clean code, and sound systems design
- Use GitHub for source control and Jira for project management
- Review pull requests and ship software frequently
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced C# developer
- Ability to code in C# and SQL
- Ability to code occasionally in Ruby
- Comfort reading and modifying JavaScript/React is a big plus
- Experience or ability to work with AWS, SQL Server, Redshift, Mongo, EntityFramework, and ASP.NET Core
- Familiarity with GitHub and Jira
- Alignment with simplicity, quality, extreme ownership, and prioritization
