About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and govern solution architecture for corporate technology, including Salesforce and Sage Intacct
Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and engineering to execute the technical vision and evolve the data and systems ecosystem
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, business logic, and integration workflows
Establish firm-wide platform standards and enable users within predefined guardrails
Direct and oversee third-party contractor-delivered projects for quality, scope, schedule, and budget
Complete system configuration directly when contract resources are not assigned
Partner with functional leaders on cross-functional solutions and build-versus-buy decisions
Own quote-to-cash data flow from contracts through invoicing, revenue recognition, and billing schedules
Define integration strategies using out-of-the-box solutions or bespoke middleware
Monitor technology costs and align systems with value-based business outcomes
Establish and maintain master data integrity and governance standards
Serve as a senior individual contributor and player-coach reporting to the Director of Organizational Systems and Change
Build influence and followership across the firm without formal authority

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; an IT or Technology degree is welcomed
Deep, hands-on, current Salesforce ecosystem experience is required
Candidates must have substantive Salesforce experience
Salesforce Administrator Certification is required
Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Architect track Salesforce certifications are highly advantageous
Significant experience in Business Systems, Solutions Architecture, or a similar role
Track record of delivering, directing, and quality-assuring contractors or Salesforce professionals on projects
Experience in a global professional services or B2B environment is highly favorable
Strong understanding of professional services operations and accounting principles, including bookings, billings, and revenue recognition
Experience with geographic and multi-entity operational and system-configuration challenges
Sage Intacct or equivalent ERP experience is highly favorable
Ability to manage and integrate HRIS, collaboration, and financial platforms
Ability to build followership and credibility without formal authority
Holistic understanding of enterprise system impacts and scalability
Ability to translate executive strategy into technical requirements
Hands-on, technically pragmatic approach to systems, integrations, and technical foundations
