About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the product strategy for core platform surfaces including symbol pages, social streams, user profiles, and community features.
  • Partner with engineering and design to define, build, and ship high-quality product experiences that serve both new and power users.
  • Define requirements and workflows that uphold product quality, performance, and platform integrity.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and data providers to evaluate, integrate, and maintain solutions that support platform needs.
  • Drive features that improve how users discover content, follow stocks, crypto, and other assets they care about, and stay engaged with the markets and ideas that matter to them.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen social and community mechanics that strengthen the Stocktwits network, including following users, discovering communities, and surfacing relevant content through recommendation algorithms.
  • Collaborate with Community and Support teams to promote creator content and ensure streams surface the most relevant, high-quality conversations for users.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support monetization initiatives on core platform surfaces, including programmatic and native ad placements.
  • Use data and user research to identify platform improvements that create business value alongside user value.
  • Support go-to-market efforts for core platform features across web, iOS, and Android.
  • Be an advocate for our users; collect and synthesize data and insights from user research, product data, markets and competitive data to identify and resolve pain points, and identify opportunities that will deliver business goals and user benefits.
  • Drive OKRs and KPIs for your product squad.
  • Craft product requirements and documentation.
  • Plan and roll out go-to-market activities.
  • Communicate effectively regarding priorities, strategy and execution plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years professional experience in Product Management, digital media or content partnerships, ideally in financial technology.
  • Proven track record in shipping B2C / consumer facing products.
  • Understanding of and experience in agile methodologies and rituals.
  • Experience with consumer web metrics and analytics tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills with an execution/delivery-driven mindset.
  • Ability to incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to estimate workloads accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships and working collaboratively within the Product and Engineering teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in financial markets is a plus.
