About the role
- Own all financial reporting, forecasts, planning, budgeting, and analysis. Collaborate with the COO to support any fundraising and corporate finance activities including acquisitions and investments. Partner with the COO and leadership team to drive strategic decisions with strong understanding of any financial and business impacts. Make sure all government reporting, partner reporting and any other external reporting is done in a timely and accurate manner. Manage key external vendor relationships, audit processes and AR/AP processes. Assist with international expansion and expansion into crypto related operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in finance and financial operations, preferably in a venture backed consumer fintech company. 3+ years of experience in a leadership role including managing and leading teams. Proven ownership of full financial operations and fundraising for VC backed startups. Strong self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment with constant change. High attention to detail, with a systems and process oriented mindset. Strong financial modeling experience. Management and collaboration skills working up-and-down the organizational structure. Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to balance numerous projects while meeting tight deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail. Effective interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships and working collaboratively both internally and externally. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills (grammar & syntax).
