About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and support financial statement audit readiness and remediation efforts.
Design and implement data-driven analytical solutions to uncover insights and resolve data challenges.
Automate recurring analytics processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Analyze audit findings and contribute to the development of corrective action plans.
Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and leadership to ensure audit requirements are met.
Prepare audit documentation and evidence packages for assertions and walkthroughs.
Maintain organized and traceable audit readiness documentation repositories.
Coordinate responses to audit requests with external audit firms and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or at least 5 years of equivalent experience in data analytics, federal financial management, or audit readiness)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial data analytics, process automation, or PowerApps development
Proficiency in Python, PowerApps, or similar tools for financial data extraction, analysis and reporting
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytics to non-technical audiences.
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
