About the role
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that translate user needs into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Perform usability tests on design and iterate based on user feedback to improve the overall user experience.
- Maintain design documentation, including user flows, personas, and design specifications, to communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps.
- Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior.
Requirements
- Experience with an appropriate toolset for the design of web applications.
- Use resources effectively and efficiently to get work completed in a fast-paced environment.
- US Citizen and able to pass security clearances as required for Government contracts.
- Minimum 3 years of professional architecture experience in AWS.
- Ability to present and lead customers through process flows and design layouts.
- Familiarity with source control processes such as Git, work item management, branch management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge and experience with professional web-design principles and practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
