About the role

  • Take on a field sales role in technical sales with a focus on a well-known customer base consisting of several hundred regular customers.
  • Acquire new customers, including in the industrial engines sector, and actively manage and expand existing business relationships.
  • Responsible for all sales revenue within your own sales territory.
  • Analyze and identify individual customer needs to develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with an experienced, dedicated inside sales team to effectively support sales activities.
  • Implement defined sales targets and continuously monitor the market in the powertrain/drive technology and technical solutions sector.
  • Report directly to management and regularly participate in sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training, for example as a technician, master craftsman, or engineer.
  • Good command of English.
  • Initial or demonstrable experience in technical sales, ideally with industry knowledge in drive technology or in the automotive or shipbuilding sectors.
  • Basic business administration knowledge, particularly in preparing quotations and calculating costs/margins.
  • Strong sales aptitude, persuasiveness, and enjoyment of independent market development.
  • High goal orientation, initiative, ambition, and a structured, committed working style.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build sustainable customer relationships.
  • Authentic, down-to-earth personality with resilience and a sense of humor; highly team-oriented.
