About the role

  • Take on an external field sales role in technical sales with a focus on a well-known customer base consisting of several hundred regular clients.
  • Acquire new customers, including in the industrial engine sector, and actively manage and expand existing business relationships.
  • Responsible for all sales revenue within your sales territory.
  • Analyze and assess individual customer needs to develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with an experienced, committed inside sales team to effectively support sales activities.
  • Implement defined sales targets and continuously monitor the market in the field of drive technology and technical solutions.
  • Direct reporting line to management and regular participation in sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training, e.g., technician, master technician or engineer.
  • Good command of English.
  • Initial or proven experience in technical sales, ideally with industry knowledge in drive technology or in the automotive or shipbuilding sectors.
  • Basic business administration knowledge, especially in quoting and post-calculation (cost analysis).
  • Strong sales aptitude, persuasive ability and enjoyment of independent market development.
  • High goal orientation, initiative, ambition as well as a structured and committed way of working.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build sustainable customer relationships.
  • Authentic, down-to-earth personality with resilience and a sense of humor; strong team player.
