About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale solutions on SAP BW 7.5 on HANA and above
Develop and optimize Native HANA Cloud data models
Build and maintain HANA Cloud & Datasphere models
Develop dashboards and analytical stories using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Design and maintain reports using SAP BO Web Intelligence (WebI) 4.x
Integrate BW, HANA, and Datasphere with SAC and BO tools
Enable real-time and predictive analytics use cases
Integrate SAP ECC 6.0, APO, S/4HANA, and non-SAP sources
Build robust ETL pipelines and transformation logic
Develop ABAP-based data extraction and transformation programs
Participate in global BI architecture and design discussions
Design scalable cloud-native analytics solutions
Drive modernization of legacy BI systems into HANA Cloud and Datasphere
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in SAP BW on HANA, HANA CLOUD and SAP SAC
Strong hands-on experience in BW 7.5 on HANA and above
Experience with SAP Datasphere Native HANA Cloud Modelling (Calculation Views, SQLScript, CDS)
Strong SAP BO BI 4.x (WebI) experience
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Data provisioning using SLT, ODP, SDA, SDI
Strong ABAP development skills for BW extractors and transformations
SAP ECC 6.0 and APO integration
Experience with real-time and batch data replication
Performance tuning and query optimization
Exposure to AI/ML models for forecasting and predictive analytics preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
