About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and development of comprehensive learning programs across multiple modalities: e-learning (SCORM/xAPI), instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), microlearning, video-based learning, interactive simulations, and performance support tools.
- Apply advanced instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, backward design) and learning science principles (cognitive load theory, spaced repetition, retrieval practice) to create highly effective, scalable learning experiences.
- Design and develop full-scale onboarding curricula including role-based learning paths, 30-60-90 day programs, competency assessments, and certification tracks within MindTickle.
- Build product enablement content that translates technical cybersecurity concepts (Active Directory security, identity threat detection, forest recovery) into clear, compelling, and sales-relevant learning for non-technical audiences.
- Create scenario-based and situational learning content—including branching simulations, deal-based case studies, and role-play scripts—that mirrors real-world selling situations.
- Develop sales play content, battle cards, competitive positioning modules, and objection-handling guides in close collaboration with product marketing and competitive intelligence teams.
- Partner with the Head of Global Sales Enablement and business stakeholders to conduct thorough training needs analyses (TNA).
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of instructional design experience, with at least 3 years in a B2B SaaS or technology company sales enablement environment.
- Expert-level proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) or equivalent e-learning authoring tools; strong portfolio of published learning content required.
- Deep knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theory (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Model, 70-20-10 framework).
- Proven ability to translate complex, technical subject matter into engaging, learner-friendly content for non-technical audiences.
- Experience building and managing content within a modern LMS platform; MindTickle experience strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent design projects, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to write clear learning objectives, compelling scripts, and effective performance support copy.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with and managing SMEs across functions (product, engineering, sales) to efficiently extract knowledge and maintain accuracy.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth, globally distributed environment.
