About the role

Build and maintain a deep understanding of the data and analytics landscape at Semperis including data sources, data and analytic assets and products, analytic tools and software, and master data
Deploy and manage cloud data warehouse
Perform data warehouse maintenance, optimization and configuration tuning
Determine data design and development, including data architecture, modeling and ETL development
Create simple, flexible, and scalable data models to meet the wide range of business needs across the organization
Define and manage cloud data warehouse and big data technology standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality
Oversee end-to-end cloud data warehouse and big data life cycle management activities

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related discipline and 8+ years of professional experience
Proven experience in data architecture, data warehouse, and/or data design
Demonstrated experience delivering scalable data warehousing products to support operational and analytical data needs for operational systems, data science, and analytics teams
Strong experience in designing scalable and enterprise-scale conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Strong knowledge & implementation experience of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and industry best practices
Demonstrated expertise in ELT patterns and processes, with a focus on scalable data pipeline development, data quality assurance, and data privacy management using modern tools such as dbt
Proven ability to implement robust data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with privacy standards across complex data ecosystems
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with one of the following BI reporting tools is a plus (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Solid technical and analytical skills with the ability to communicate across the organization and manage multiple priorities
