About the role
- In close coordination with theater management, you support the building services/technical operations at Metronom Theater Oberhausen and ensure the flawless operation of technical systems
- Monitor and maintain building services systems, including heating, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Perform repairs in case of malfunctions or coordinate external service providers
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Document repairs and inspections
- Ensure the smooth operation of technical systems during performances and events
- Work closely with other departments
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a building services technician, electrician, or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge and professional experience in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of plumbing and heating systems is an advantage
- Ideally, experience in theater operations or similar institutions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
