About the role

  • Administers, monitors, and maintains voice and data infrastructure.
  • Ensures availability, performance, and security through high-level support, complex troubleshooting, and specialized knowledge.
  • Configuring network hardware and software, performing network audits, providing technical guidance to junior staff, and collaborating on network planning.
  • Plan, implement, and upgrade complex network architectures.
  • Continuously monitor network performance and proactively optimize resources.
  • Provide high-level, expert support for complex network issues, drives resolution to network connectivity, hardware failures, and telephone matters.
  • Coordinate with vendors for installations and maintenance activities, manage contracts, and contribute to project proposal for network connectivity and upgrades.
  • Research, test, and implement business continuity plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, management information system or network administration from an accredited university.
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in an information technology and/or computing environment with at least three (3) years of direct experience as a network administrator installing, monitoring, and/or maintaining complex voice and data networks in a medium to large scale organization.
