About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You manage the financial processes and are responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • In doing so, you ensure reliable accounting and efficient closing processes.
  • You monitor liquidity and cash flow, analyze financial relationships and derive well-founded recommendations for corporate management.
  • You are responsible for the professional and structural development of the department.
  • You promote the individual development and sense of responsibility of your employees – including in a virtual work environment.
  • You continuously develop processes and structures, drive digitalization forward and ensure quality, efficiency and legal compliance.
  • You work closely with our CFO, the hotels and internal and external partners and are the competent contact for financial matters.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A commercial or business degree with a focus on finance and accounting, plus several years of professional experience in accounting
  • You understand the specifics of our industry and know the processes of hotel operations – ideally you already have experience in hotel accounting.
  • You have prior leadership experience and know how to develop teams, provide direction and successfully implement change together.
  • You grasp complex relationships, know how to set priorities and make sound decisions.
  • Your analytical mindset is paired with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Your assertiveness enables you to represent clear and persuasive positions while ensuring different perspectives are heard and considered.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office and DATEV.
  • You work confidently with digital tools and systems and have good spoken and written German and English skills.
