Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MRO and indirect material categories.
Analyze spend data, supplier base, and market trends to identify opportunities for consolidation, cost savings, and value creation.
Lead competitive bidding processes and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
Partner with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to align procurement strategy with operational needs.
Manage sourcing initiatives for production equipment, automation systems, and facility infrastructure.
Drive competitive RFQ/RFP processes for CapEx projects.
Evaluate supplier technical capabilities and financial stability to ensure successful project implementation.
Support global manufacturing expansion, transfer, consolidation, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field required.
Advanced degree or CPSM/CPIM certification preferred.
5+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain roles preferred, with at least 2 years focused on MRO or indirect procurement in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proven track record of delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
Analytical mindset with experience in spend analysis and market benchmarking.
Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships (engineering, operations, maintenance, finance).
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
