💰 $150,000 - $160,000 per year
About the role
- Work with large Enterprise customers across industries covering the West Coast
- Own customer engagements end-to-end: prospecting, engagement, close, and expansion
- Onboard accounts and grow them with additional products or increased usage
- Manage inbound leads with fast follow-up and qualify opportunities
- Achieve and exceed goals for outbound calls, emails, demos, and trials (PoCs) every quarter
- Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting and execute a territory plan
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Product Management to ensure smooth launches and fuel product growth
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully selling security solutions to CISOs and other senior security executives within the West Coast United States region
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and product demo skills
- Curious and able to probe deep for customer pain-points
- Always-be-prospecting mindset and access to Semgrep experts
- Tenacious: build 4-5x pipeline, advance deals, work the organization chart, align resources
- Resilient: willing to take early morning or late evening customer calls and travel for customer onsite meetings
- 5-10 years of sales experience in high pace environments with consistent quota achievement
- Closed multiple 6 or 7-figure deals a year, several years in a row within large Enterprise organizations
- Bonus: relevant AppSec experience and/or early stage startup experience
- Excellent customer orientation with record breaking SLAs in responding to customer needs
- Expert in working asynchronously using Slack, Google Suite, email, video conferencing
- Technical aptitude to become fluent in Semgrep and the DevSecOps industry
