Payroll

• Own payroll operations and processing in our payroll system (Rippling), for all global locations, preparing payroll account reconciliations and JEs, and ensuring month end close are completed timely and in compliance
• Create controls, processes, and communications, and ensure each pay cycle is processed accurately and timely
• Process associated payroll taxes and payment of employee benefits, including payroll and benefits reconciliations and equity transactions (e.g., ISO, NSO)
• Set up new tax jurisdictions, including withholding, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and disability accounts where applicable
• Partner cross-functionally to optimize and automate our processes, including being a key player in the data feed between payroll system and ERP
• Own employee equity administration, including preparing grant lists for board approval, processing exercises, and responding to employee inquiries
• Reconcile benefits deductions, workers compensation, employee 401(k) contributions, and process wage garnishments
• Research and provide best practices opinions regarding payroll practices and payroll tax and benefits compliances
