About the role
- Identification and outreach to potential new customers in the safety glass segment
- Establishment, maintenance and expansion of long-term customer relationships
- Preparation of offers, cost calculations and conduct of contract negotiations
- Technical consultation on the properties and benefits of safety glass products
- Development and implementation of sales strategies to open up new market segments
- Support and advisory services for existing customers to realize cross-selling potentials
- Continuous analysis of market and competitor developments
- Conducting professional product presentations and trainings
- Coordination of customer projects
- Representation of the company at trade fairs, professional events and industry functions
- Maintenance and expansion of the professional network in the safety glass industry
Requirements
- Completed training in a commercial, technical or trade-related field
- Several years of sales experience, ideally in the technical or industrial sector
- Experience in managing key accounts and acquiring new customers
- Knowledge of project management
- Solid knowledge in the area of safety glass or a related product area desirable
- Technical understanding
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
- Team player with high social competence
- Customer-focused mindset and behavior
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic market environment
