About the role

  • Further development of the energy management system (EnMS) according to DIN EN ISO 50001 across the SEMCO Group
  • Preparation for and support during internal and external audits
  • Establishment and maintenance of an energy KPI system to manage energy efficiency
  • Support sites in reducing energy consumption and implementing efficiency measures
  • Assessment of energy-saving potential for investments as well as centralized analysis and documentation of relevant consumption (e.g., electricity, gas, water)
  • Management of cross-site energy management projects and conducting benchmarking
  • Development of practical standards and processes to optimize energy efficiency and operational safety
  • Support in sustainability matters, particularly in the context of CSRD and related reporting obligations

Requirements

  • Degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 50001
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to present complex issues clearly and in a structured manner
  • Strong numerical aptitude and experience in project management
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with diverse stakeholder groups
  • High degree of independence, sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Willingness to travel within the SEMCO Group (approx. 20%)
  • Ideally additional qualification as an Energy Efficiency Consultant (m/f/d) or Certified Energy Manager and professional experience in a similar role
