Lead nationwide consumer finance operations and oversee greater than $1B annually in third-party consumer financing originations
Optimize the company’s consumer financing process and partners to maximize approval rates and minimize cost while ensuring exceptional customer experience
Manage relationships with third-party lenders, negotiate terms, ensure compliance, and evaluate/onboard new lending partners
Oversee centralized team of credit analysts and ensure consistent service to in-home sales representatives
Oversee financial and data analytics performance; develop and monitor KPIs and financial reporting and provide insights to Divisional and Marketing leaders
Champion adoption and roll-out of new technology platform to digitally automate the lending journey from origination to funding
Implement training programs for internal teams on consumer finance products to support customer acquisition
Ensure compliance with relevant consumer finance regulations in collaboration with legal and licensing counterparts
Monitor trends and developments in consumer credit markets and economic conditions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in consumer finance, financial services, or a similar role
Strong understanding of lending products and operations in direct-to-consumer business model
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
Demonstrated track record of data-driven performance improvements in consumer finance products
Innovation orientation, with passion for technology enabled solutions
Polished negotiation and relationship-building skills and experience managing third-party lenders
Experience overseeing centralized teams of credit analysts
Knowledge of consumer finance regulations and compliance
