About the role
- Partner with stakeholders to define marketing objectives, KPIs, and budgets that maximize ROI
- Own division marketing spend and performance; evaluate campaigns and report results monthly
- Build market-level marketing plans with the right channel mix to meet lead targets efficiently
- Adjust spend daily/weekly to drive efficiency and hit or exceed lead and sales goals
- Align marketing, call center, and sales teams to improve funnel conversion
- Implement and enhance automated tracking for leads and spend to guide intramonth decisions
- Champion a high-performance, test-and-learn culture; automate manual or repetitive tasks
- Present results, wins, and improvement plans to division and executive leadership
- Collaborate on CRO, LPO, and A/B testing initiatives
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external marketing vendors
- Use analytics and visualization tools to deliver actionable insights for the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, or a related field or equivalent experience in the role
- Proven multi year experience as a Marketing Director, preferably in the home improvement or related industry
- In-depth knowledge of traditional and digital marketing techniques, tools, and best practices
- Proficiency in using marketing software and tools, such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and content tools
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive targeted marketing campaigns
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with emphasis on persuasive writing/editing abilities
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and strong attention to detail
- Proven experience in managing and negotiating with external vendors
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and multitask effectively
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments in marketing technology
