About the role
- Act as an internal consultant supporting Supplier Management, Order Management, Sourcing, and Value Engineering with data analytics and process improvements.
- Turn complex data into clear insights and streamline supplier, purchase order, and procurement processes.
- Act as the data support backbone for the Sourcing & Purchasing team.
- Write SQL queries in Snowflake and structure data to support supplier negotiations, order tracking, and resourcing projects.
- Build Power BI dashboards and reports to give teams real-time visibility on suppliers, costs, and operations.
- Partner with Order Management and Sourcing to optimize workflows (e.g., automating NetSuite uploads, reducing manual tasks).
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Supply Chain Planning on larger analytics projects.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses and process recommendations to help teams make fact-based decisions faster.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills (must-have) with experience working in data environments like Snowflake.
- Power BI knowledge for data visualization and dashboard building.
- Preferably 3–5 years of related experience in data operations, procurement, or supply chain analytics.
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes (why we need certain data, how purchasing works).
- Fluent in English (Cantonese is preferred, Mandarin is a plus).
- Strong communication & collaboration skills — able to work across multiple teams and translate business needs into data solutions.
- Nice to have: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
- Prior experience in merchandising, purchasing, or supplier management.
