About the role
- Outbound dialing sales prospects to generate interest in SelectQuote's products – upwards of 800 calls daily
- Handle and overcome sales objections and stalls to transfer potential customers to a licensed insurance agent
- Meet and exceed monthly goals for transfer rates and contact to transfer to increase sales agent conversion
- Work within SelectQuote Qualifications Team to handle all insurance product inquiries and triage to licensed agents
- Receive phone call after applying to complete pre-screening questionnaire
Requirements
- Unlicensed position (Candidates with Insurance Licenses will not be considered)
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Required 1 year or more experience working in a telesales or sales environment
- Preferred experience working in a high volume metrics or commission-driven role with proven success
- Individuals with flexibility to work overtime hours, weekends, or irregular schedules
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Hardwired high-speed internet connection with minimum download speed of 20mbps and upload speed of 20mbps
- Must be punctual and adhere to attendance policies and assigned work schedule
- Access to a quiet, dedicated work environment free of distractions
