HR Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Preparatory payroll: Recording and verifying payroll-relevant data for handover to the external payroll service provider
- Contract management maintenance and administration: You independently create and manage employment contracts, contract amendments, employment references and other HR documents
- HR data management: You maintain employee master data in Workday
- Point of contact for employees and managers on payroll-related questions
- Correspondence with authorities, social insurance institutions and health insurance providers
- Preparation of certificates, analyses and HR reports from Workday
- Support in optimizing and digitizing HR processes
- Contributing to HR projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial/business vocational training, ideally with further qualification in human resources
- Experience in preparatory payroll processing
- Solid knowledge of payroll tax, social security and employment law
- Proficient with Workday or similar HR systems
- Discretion, attention to detail and a structured way of working
- Strong communication skills – ability to explain complex matters clearly
