HR Officer, Payroll
SelectLine Software GmbhHR Officer focusing on payroll, handling employee administration in a hybrid work environment. Collaborating with HR team and managing benefits portfolio.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You prepare the monthly payroll on time and submit all payroll-relevant data to our external service provider, working closely with your colleague.
- You review and verify the produced payslips for plausibility and serve as a point of contact for employees with payroll questions.
- You reliably manage personnel administration—from employment contracts and personnel files to deadline tracking—and coordinate cross-functional matters with the team.
- You administer the company pension scheme in accordance with the German Company Pensions Act (BetrAVG) and manage our benefits portfolio administratively.
- You maintain our personnel data in Workday, produce HR reports and actively contribute your insights to the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have relevant experience in payroll/payroll accounting with at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role, ideally evidenced by relevant training or certification.
- You have strong knowledge of social security, tax and employment law.
- You have experience with HR systems, ideally Workday or a comparable system.
- You work in a structured, careful manner and communicate clearly, with a strong sense of responsibility and a confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external partners.
