Accounting Manager

• Weiterentwicklung interner Richtlinien, Kontrollmechanismen und Reportingstrukturen zur nachhaltigen Qualitätssicherung
• Steuerung von Abschlussprozessen auf Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresbasis inklusive Konsolidierung auf Gruppenebene
• Hauptansprechpartner:in für externe Prüfer:innen und Begleitung sämtlicher Auditprozesse
• Fachliche und organisatorische Leitung eines 15-köpfigen Accounting-Teams inklusive Sicherstellung fristgerechter Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse nach nationalen und internationalen Rechnungslegungsstandards (HGB & IFRS).
• Verantwortung für steuerliche Themenstellungen inklusive Deklaration, Compliance und Weiterentwicklung eines internen Kontrollrahmens
• Steuerung von Liquiditätsplanung, Cash-Projektionen sowie Überwachung kurzfristiger Finanzanlagen
• Mitwirkung bei finanziellen Prüfungen im Rahmen strategischer Transaktionen und Investitionsentscheidungen
• Initiierung und Umsetzung von Effizienz- und Digitalisierungsprojekten im Finance-Umfeld unter Einsatz moderner Systeme und Automatisierungslösungen
• Förderung und Weiterentwicklung von Fachspezialisten (gn) innerhalb des Verantwortungsbereichs
• Pflege eines professionellen Netzwerks zu externen Berater:innen, Institutionen und relevanten Schnittstellen

Director of Accounting

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Ensure proper, timely preparation of the annual individual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Ensure regulatory compliance with tax law, reporting obligations and statutory requirements
• Oversee operational and strategic financial planning, including budgeting processes, forecasts and multi-year planning
• Overall leadership of the finance organization in Germany with multiple team leads in Accounting, Business Controlling, Liquidity Management/Treasury and Tax
• Act as a sparring partner to executive management on investment decisions, profitability analyses and commercial matters
• Represent the company to auditors, financial institutions and relevant authorities
• Close coordination with Group Finance and Internal Audit to ensure consistent reporting and control standards
• Responsible for financial valuations in the context of acquisitions and for supporting the integration of new entities
• Operational involvement in key areas such as performance management, working capital management and management of financial liabilities
• Further development of the systems landscape, governance structures and internal control mechanisms
• Build and develop high-performing leadership teams, including structured succession planning
• Shape a performance-oriented yet collaborative leadership culture
