About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Pipeline Management: Manage the full B2B sales cycle, from qualifying leads generated by the SDR team through to contract closing.
- Consultative Selling: Deeply understand clients' infrastructure pain points to offer migration, modernization, and FinOps (cost optimization) services on AWS.
- Executive Relationship Management: Map and influence decision-makers (C-level executives, IT Directors, and Infrastructure Managers).
- Proposal Development: Build complex commercial proposals, advocating the cloud's ROI (Return on Investment) for the client's business.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects to design the best technical proposal for the client.
Requirements
What you’ll need- B2B Sales Experience: Proven track record closing complex deals with medium-to-long sales cycles;
- AWS Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and familiarity with AWS support tiers and credits;
- Technology Ecosystem Experience: Previous experience in IT service companies, consultancies, or cloud partners (Cloud Managed Services);
- Data Analysis: Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive) for KPI management and sales forecasting (forecast).
- You will have an advantage if you have:
- AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect – Associate).
- Fluent or advanced English (for direct interaction with AWS Global).
- Experience with market intelligence and prospecting tools.
