About the role

  • Operate and manage network security solutions in a critical corporate environment.
  • Configure, maintain, and review firewall, IPS, WAF, and access control rules.
  • Manage security and connectivity policies, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform troubleshooting of operational connectivity and security incidents (infrastructure-level).
  • Support Secure Service Edge (SSE), CASB, and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) environments.
  • Monitor logs, alerts, and operational indicators to identify failures or technical risks.
  • Support controlled changes (change management) and continuous improvements in the environments.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Interact with internal teams and the client for technical and operational alignments.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, NAT, VLAN, VPN (IPSec and SSL).
  • Network segmentation and traffic control.
  • Concepts of Zero Trust, perimeter security, and secure access.
  • Experience in critical, high-availability environments.
  • Key technologies for this role: NGFW / IPS – Fortinet.
  • Creation and management of security policies: NAT, VPN, IPS, Web Filtering, and Application Control (Forcegate V Series).
  • Administration of rules, policies, and troubleshooting with Netskope (SSE / CASB / SWG).
  • Access control, data protection, and visibility for SaaS applications.
  • Akamai Secure Internet Access (SIA): secure browsing, access policies, and traffic protection.
  • Akamai Edge DNS: DNS management, security, and threat mitigation via DNS.
  • WAF – F5 Distributed Cloud: configuration of policies to protect web applications.
  • Mitigation of vulnerabilities and attacks (OWASP Top 10).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks, Information Systems, Computer Science (or related areas).
  • Previous experience as an Information Security Analyst or Network Analyst with a security focus.
  • Experience in operation and support of network security environments.
  • Experience with corporate clients and regulated environments is a plus.
  • Previous work in MSS or managed services is highly desirable.
  • Languages: Fluent Portuguese (spoken and written), technical-level English for reading documentation, opening tickets, and interacting with vendors.
