About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and maintain SAP EC-CS or SEM-BCS for legal and management consolidation
Execute and review intercompany (IC) eliminations: revenues/expenses, AP/AR balances, and intercompany profit in inventory (ICS)
Configure investment eliminations and equity method adjustments
Ensure currency conversion to the group currency and the integrity of the close
Elicit requirements, prepare BBP (Blueprint), WRICEF specifications, and conduct tests (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, UAT)
Support external auditors and Controllership teams in the validation of financial statements
Document configurations and processes, ensuring traceability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical knowledge in SAP: FI-AP / FI-AR (IC reconciliation)
FI-AA (valuation areas)
CO-PA / CO-CCA
FI-SL (Special Purpose Ledger)
BW (data extraction for consolidation)
ABAP (code reading)
Knowledge of accounting standards: IFRS 10 / CPC 36 – Consolidated financial statements
IFRS 3 / CPC 15 – Business combinations
IAS 21 / CPC 02 – Foreign currency translation
IAS 28 / CPC 18 – Equity method (investments in associates/joint ventures)
BR GAAP / NBC TG – Publicly listed companies in Brazil
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
Minimum 5 years' experience in SAP FI/CO
Minimum 3 years' experience in consolidation
Participation in at least 2 full EC-CS / SEM-BCS projects
Intermediate to advanced English
Postgraduate degree in Controllership or IFRS
