About the role

  • Participate in the implementation and ongoing support of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
  • Gather requirements from business areas for master data processes
  • Design, configure and implement data governance processes
  • Configure approval workflows for the creation and modification of master data
  • Ensure the quality, consistency and governance of master data
  • Work on MDG integration with other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.)
  • Support unit, integration and UAT testing
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation
  • Support key users and provide training when necessary

Requirements

  • Experience with SAP MDG
  • Solid knowledge of Master Data, including: Business Partner (BP), Materials, Services, GL Accounts
  • Experience with governance and data quality processes
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations
  • MDG configuration and activities: Data Model configuration (MDG Data Modeling); Change Request configuration (CR Type, CR Step, CR Workflow); Definition and configuration of approval workflows (BRF+ / business rules); UI configuration (Floorplan Manager / FPM); Configuration of validation and derivation rules (BRF+); Edition Management configuration (when applicable); Replication Framework configuration (DRF); Definition of staging area and activation process; Customization of Business Partner, Material and Finance objects in MDG; Configuration of Data Quality Management (DQM) (match & merge, duplicate check)
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) / Migration Cockpit; experience with master data loading and migration; participation in rollout or global implementation projects
