About the role

  • Manage accounting operations and resolve accounting issues for hedge and private equity fund clients
  • Serve as main client contact for offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration
  • Delegate funds to team, coordinate/onboard new fund setups, and liaise between clients and internal teams
  • Prepare and review month-end valuation reports and authorize wire payments from escrow accounts
  • Support year-end audits in accordance with GAAP and perform due-diligence for regulatory compliance
  • Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering policies and department compliance rules
  • Correspond with investment managers, transfer agents, and service teams to resolve inquiries
  • Conduct performance appraisals, one-on-ones, hiring, training, and career development for team
  • Support business development, client onboarding, and participate in prospect calls and presentations

Requirements

  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fund services industry, alternatives experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
