About the role
- Manage accounting operations and resolve accounting issues for hedge and private equity fund clients
- Serve as main client contact for offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration
- Delegate funds to team, coordinate/onboard new fund setups, and liaise between clients and internal teams
- Prepare and review month-end valuation reports and authorize wire payments from escrow accounts
- Support year-end audits in accordance with GAAP and perform due-diligence for regulatory compliance
- Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering policies and department compliance rules
- Correspond with investment managers, transfer agents, and service teams to resolve inquiries
- Conduct performance appraisals, one-on-ones, hiring, training, and career development for team
- Support business development, client onboarding, and participate in prospect calls and presentations
Requirements
- BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fund services industry, alternatives experience required
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
