💰 $100,000 - $160,000 per year
About the role
- Manage accounting operations and resolve accounting issues for hedge and private equity fund clients
- Serve as main client contact for offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration
- Delegate funds to team, coordinate/onboard new fund setups, and liaise with internal teams
- Coordinate and support year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP
- Perform due-diligence for regulatory compliance and follow AML policies
- Generate and reconcile accounting reports, review and approve month-end valuations, authorize wire payments
- Correspond with investment managers, transfer agents, and service teams to resolve inquiries and production issues
- Conduct performance appraisals, one-on-ones, hiring, training, and manage staffing
- Support new business development and client onboarding activities
- Participate in IMS and corporate professional development to identify process improvements
Requirements
- BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fund services industry, alternatives experience required
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to commute to Stamford or Hartford, CT
