💰 $105,000 - $160,000 per year
About the role
- Serve as main contact and lead for offshore and domestic private equity fund accounting and administration
- Lead delegation of funds and coordinate/onboard new fund setups
- Liaise between clients, internal teams, investment managers, transfer agents and vendors
- Prepare, review and approve month-end valuation reports and full accounting packages
- Coordinate and support year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP
- Perform due-diligence and ensure compliance with laws and regulations; implement AML policies
- Authorize wire payments from fund escrow accounts and reconcile accounting reporting
- Respond to client inquiries and support administration, servicing, planning and reporting of funds
- Conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones, provide career pathing, training and hiring
- Assess staffing requirements and manage promotions and disciplinary actions
- Support new business development, prospect calls, client visits and presentations
- Facilitate onboarding of new and converted clients and submit custom requests
- Partner across IMS and corporate teams to identify process improvements and grow the business
Requirements
- BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Private Equity Fund Accounting / Fund Administration
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisor or manager level experience
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
