About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work and learn from award-winning transportation team leaders
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct multiple projects for a variety of clients
- Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development and after completion
- Manage, mentor, and work with staff to provide a positive team environment
- Prepare project approaches, scopes, and fees required to complete projects
- Present proposals to clients and select project teams
- Perform complex design calculations and ensure QA/QC procedures are followed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota
- Ability to travel as needed for client consultations and business development
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in highway design and construction of MNDOT projects
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Design experience in Microstation/GeoPak/ORD (Open Roads Designer)
