About the role

  • Develop technical variable and tooling costs for assigned components and systems using activity-based costing methodologies
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support engineering and purchasing
  • Analyze supplier quotes and reach agreement on appropriate costs
  • Interact with the team in Design to Cost initiatives, benchmarking, Direct material and tooling costs
  • Support projects with cost support from early development phases/milestones to the serial life of the component domain requested, focused on chassis and/or suspensions
  • Develop Costing in support of Technical Estimation and/or Should Cost based on technical features, specifications and Bill of Materials
  • Propose economic savings and optimization during vehicle milestones and cost target development
  • Provide data driven cost deltas for target and quote gap closure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Business, Finance or related field
  • +4 years of experience in design, release or processing role
  • Management of Teamcenter and NX
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple programs and cost details simultaneously
  • Solid leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with English as official language for communication (written and oral)
  • Ability to work in a global team.
