About the role
- Support projects by performing cost analysis of electronic components from early development phases/milestones through the series production lifecycle of the requested component domain.
- Assess and respond to requirements for HPC (High-Performance Computer), SoC/SiP, memories, software capability, WiFi/BT, SGW, and up-integration.
- Work with suppliers and companies to achieve competitive solutions aligned with client guidelines.
- Build and maintain the HPC cost model.
- Be responsible for analyzing manufacturing processes, production methods, and material applications to determine the optimal cost model for components.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Advanced English and ability to work within a global team
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of PCBs, PCB manufacturing, and other electronic components
- Experience in industrial production environments at electronic component manufacturing companies
- Knowledge of embedded software
- Knowledge of component cost models and how to apply them
- Experience with automotive infotainment components
