About the role

  • Support projects by performing cost analysis of electronic components from early development phases/milestones through the series production lifecycle of the requested component domain.
  • Assess and respond to requirements for HPC (High-Performance Computer), SoC/SiP, memories, software capability, WiFi/BT, SGW, and up-integration.
  • Work with suppliers and companies to achieve competitive solutions aligned with client guidelines.
  • Build and maintain the HPC cost model.
  • Be responsible for analyzing manufacturing processes, production methods, and material applications to determine the optimal cost model for components.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Advanced English and ability to work within a global team
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of PCBs, PCB manufacturing, and other electronic components
  • Experience in industrial production environments at electronic component manufacturing companies
  • Knowledge of embedded software
  • Knowledge of component cost models and how to apply them
  • Experience with automotive infotainment components
