💰 £24,242 - £25,200 per year
About the role
- Provide an engaging introduction to all potential customers of the National Careers Service and act as an ambassador for the organisation
- Handle inbound calls and perform triage assessments to establish customers' needs
- Provide relevant and accurate information and signpost customers to appropriate support agencies
- Schedule appointments with Careers Advisors and manage bookings from Jobcentre Plus (JCP)
- Update CRM systems (Yeti) with accurate and relevant information
- Work with Careers Advice teams to support customers
- Operate on a rota covering specified shift patterns, occasional Saturdays, and bank holiday cover as required
- Maintain service quality while working remotely and independently or as part of a team
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service-related role
- Positive, service-oriented attitude
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with modern digital technologies and Microsoft Teams
- Confident IT skills and ability to use multiple systems daily
- Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work without direct supervision or as part of a team
- Ability to handle inbound calls and perform triage assessment
- Willingness to work rota (cover 5 days a week) with shifts: 08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00, 10:00-18:00 or 12:00-20:00; occasional Saturday cover 10:00-17:00
- Requires at least 1-2 days working bank holidays (time off in lieu given)
- DBS check (required)
