About the role
- Support a caseload of participants within a prison environment
- Provide motivational guidance and tailored support to help participants stay engaged
- Help participants overcome personal challenges
- Prepare participants for successful reintegration into the community
- Deliver support through one to one sessions and group interventions
- Focus on pre-release planning to ensure a smooth transition back into society
Requirements
- Experience in probation services supporting individuals under supervision or on license
- Experience in social care working with vulnerable adults or young people
- Experience in prison or custody settings with a focus on rehabilitation or reintegration
- Experience in substance misuse or mental health services involving motivational support or mentoring
- Experience in community outreach and housing support
- Recent graduates eager to gain experience in the criminal justice sector
