About the role

  • First point of contact for participants and stakeholders
  • Providing a welcoming and efficient service both in person and over the phone
  • Supporting individuals on their journey to sustainable employment
  • Ensuring smooth programme transitions
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Facilitating warm handovers from Jobcentre Plus
  • Completing all necessary start-up administration such as identification checks and initial assessments
  • Supporting Employment Advisers during periods of absence
  • Organising and delivering job search activities including CV preparation and application support
  • Building strong relationships with local employers to assist with recruitment events and vacancy campaigns
  • Providing ongoing support to participants in work
  • Managing office supplies and maintaining a professional office environment
  • Handling petty cash payments accurately

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service and administration
  • Ideally within employability, recruitment, or HR
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Math’s at Grade C or above
