About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable & accounts receivable process from data entry to retailer/vendor communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the implementation, maintenance and administration of accounting software and systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have 2-3 years of accounting experience with knowledge and application of GAAP
- A detail oriented go-getter who enjoys collaborating cross functionally
- Excel & Googlesheets whiz (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA) to automate and streamline accounting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Netsuite, Ramp, Bill.com, Google suite
