About the role

  • Identifies trends and new business areas in claims management
  • Works closely with the Marketing Manager Germany
  • Develops growth strategies, including initiatives to enter new markets, form partnerships and expand services for clients
  • Leads new customer acquisition
  • Maintains professional relationship management with national department heads and sales colleagues at the international level
  • Defines and builds a key account structure and takes responsibility for partnership management
  • Independently and comprehensively manages a defined portfolio of existing clients
  • Monitors KPIs and growth targets – analyzes revenue, cost and efficiency metrics and derives recommendations for action
  • Works closely with executive management and department heads in a staff/advisory function

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the insurance industry, at least 5 years preferred, ideally in claims, at a claims service provider, insurance broker or insurance company
  • Degree in Business Administration (BWL) or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on insurance
  • Alternatively, completed vocational training as an Insurance and Finance Clerk (Kaufmann/-frau für Versicherungen und Finanzen), ideally with an additional certified specialist qualification (Fachwirt) and several years of experience in insurance
  • Strong customer orientation and a confident, professional presence
  • Articulate, strong negotiation skills and confident presentation skills
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally
  • Optimistic attitude, enjoyment of teamwork and the ability to inspire others with your energy
