About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the smooth and efficient delivery of lunch at a designated congregate meal location
Ensure lunch is provided in a pleasant environment for adults 60+ or other eligible participants/guests
Oversee meal program including meal service, participant check-in, meal reservation coordination, and donation collection
Follow food safety standards as set forth by the Kansas Department of Agriculture
Conduct assessments to required congregate participants
Provide oversight and documentation of activities of volunteers engaged in the meal program

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) year experience working in food service
Knowledge of food safety, food distribution to clients, and maintaining health and sanitation standards
Valid U.S. driver’s license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance
