About the role
- Meet and/or exceed your quota by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities at enterprise companies.
- Develop territory and account plans.
- Create and implement strategic plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Plan accounts and territories to prioritize and lead sales activities.
- Identify new customers.
- Conduct market research and build a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Collaborate with partners to create new customer opportunities and expand existing ones.
- Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position Securonix value proposition to suit their needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and industry expert to prospective customers.
- Stay current on competitor offerings and identify their strengths and vulnerabilities—why we win and why we lose.
- Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks.
- Influence clients' decisions and advocate for clients' needs in negotiating solutions.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with various cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to accurately entering, updating, and maintaining periodic activity and opportunity information in Salesforce.
Requirements
- 7+ years of closing experience at a technology company.
- Specific sales experience in the Indonesia region.
- Prefer individuals who can speak Bahasa.
- Experience at an Enterprise SIEM company or Enterprise Cybersecurity Company with SIEM.
- Strong track record of success driving revenue through prospecting and creating new business, predicting an accurate forecast, and demonstrating pipeline management.
- Track record of exceeding quota in previous sales roles.
- Highly professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well independently and under pressure and be highly responsive to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn, absorb, and adapt quickly to ever-changing business priorities.
- Well-versed with MEDDPPICC sales qualification methodology.
- Critical thinking and creativity, demonstrating drive, initiative, curiosity, and a sense of urgency in acquiring customers.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to customer meetings as needed.
