About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and shepherd threat intelligence content, including advisories, threat briefs, deep-dive research reports, blogs, executive summaries, and social content
  • Translate technical findings such as IOCs, TTPs, exposures, and emerging attack trends into narratives for practitioner and board audiences
  • Track the threat landscape and pitch timely pieces tied to active campaigns, disclosures, and geopolitical events
  • Develop webinar programs, propose angles and talking points, and post-produce programming
  • Draft bylines, blogs, and other content supporting campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Assist with content distribution and coordination across channels with the broader marketing team
  • Maintain a publication calendar and shepherd pieces through review and fact-checking
  • Enforce style standards for a consistent brand voice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years writing and producing content in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, another technical field, or cybersecurity journalism/PR/communications
  • Portfolio demonstrating technical depth and clarity for executive and practitioner audiences
  • Sharp editing skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining consistent quality
  • Working fluency in the threat landscape, including threat actors, malware, vulnerabilities, MITRE ATT&CK, and attack execution, or strong PR/communications instincts with ability to learn technical subject matter quickly
  • Ability to work with technical subject-matter experts, conduct interviews, ask follow-up questions, and self-edit with minimal oversight
  • PR and communications expertise focused on audience, angle, and distribution
  • Track record spanning cybersecurity/threat intelligence and PR/communications is an advantage
  • Proven record creating content that drives engagement and meaningful conversations
  • Experience writing for technical and executive audiences
  • Comfort with rapid iteration, quick turnarounds, and shifting priorities
  • Experience with multimedia content creation and executive communications programs
  • Experience producing or managing webinar programs preferred
  • Familiarity with security ratings, attack surface management, and third-party/supply-chain risk preferred
