About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineering managers and software engineers across a globally distributed organization.
Own the health and performance of SecurityScorecard's existing product suite.
Drive the migration of existing products onto the Titan platform.
Partner with Product and Design to build new features and products on the Titan platform.
Oversee data engineering, including modernization of our Scala/Spark-based infrastructure.
Champion SecurityScorecard's journey toward agentic, AI-assisted engineering.
Drive adoption of engineering best practices, architecture standards, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other stakeholders to define requirements and roadmaps.
Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
Manage the product engineering budget, including resource allocation and project expenses.
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to engage directly with customers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10–12 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role managing other managers across large, distributed teams.
Proven experience in a B2B SaaS environment is required.
Experience at a startup or high-growth technology company in a leadership capacity is required.
Proven experience managing engineering organizations of 25+ people in a manager-of-managers capacity.
Demonstrated experience leading or owning large-scale platform or product migrations.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic development practices.
Credible engineering background with experience in modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) and familiarity with distributed systems and large-scale data architectures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
