About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and run the operating model for a pod-based design organization
Drive adoption of AI-first design practices using live codebases, design systems, and Claude or equivalent tools
Own design-to-engineering handoff and ensure interaction details are accurate and buildable
Coordinate agent experience operations, including evaluations, guardrails, permissions, tool access, escalation paths, and failure handling
Define human-agent and multi-agent handoff and collaboration models
Define and track metrics including prototyping velocity, handoff quality, cycle time, agent evaluation coverage, and AI-tooling adoption
Run planning, prioritization, and cross-pod cadence, including shared infrastructure-level design work
Support customer co-build and live-prototyping sessions and scale learnings across customers
Partner with the UX Director and pod leads to onboard designers to AI-first workflows and improve tooling fluency, design judgment, and agentic design skills
Coordinate standards across the flat organization without managing headcount

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in design/UX operations, program management, or a similar operating role, ideally in B2B SaaS
Direct experience running AI-enabled design workflows using a live codebase and design system
Experience producing interactive prototypes and implementation-ready engineering handoffs
A demonstrated point of view on AI-first design-to-engineering workflows, including tooling, process, and tradeoffs
Exposure to agent evaluation, guardrails, agent permissions, escalation models, or agent-facing product design
Experience replacing centralized ticket-based intake with embedded, pod-based ownership, or a credible plan to do so
Comfort operating without a rigid management hierarchy and driving standards across teams
Strong cross-functional operating skills across design, product, engineering, and security
Bias toward rapid, disposable prototyping
Background in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or security-adjacent B2B SaaS is preferred
Experience scaling AI-first product development practices is preferred
Enterprise customer co-build or live-prototyping experience is preferred
Multi-agent systems or production agent evaluation framework experience is preferred
