About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary point of contact for security system issues via phone, email, and ticketing platforms
Use engineering background to triage and diagnose faults
Perform remote troubleshooting and fault resolution
Identify whether issues are system, configuration, hardware, or network related
Make informed decisions on escalating or dispatching engineers
Take ownership of incidents from initial report through to resolution
Monitor system alerts and proactively identify potential issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Background as a Security Systems Engineer, Installation Engineer, or Commissioning Engineer
Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Lenel, CCURE, Genetec, Milestone
Proven experience fault-finding and troubleshooting access control and CCTV systems
Ability to diagnose issues across hardware, software, and basic networking
Familiarity with ticketing / service management systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy)
Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
Able to travel to site when required (Reading)
