About the role
- Serve as the senior risk advisor for a limited number of key GCE clients with complex risk needs.
- Lead security risk assessments, design mitigation strategies, and launch new risk management initiatives within assigned accounts.
- Provide expert guidance on physical and operational security including security technology, guarding models, SOPs, training, red teaming, travel risk, and event security.
- Ensure alignment with client expectations, industry best practices, and GCE strategy as well as the group direction on Risk Management (part of the wider Risk Management experts community).
- Build strong executive-level relationships with clients and (internal) stakeholders.
- Drive his cluster and clients to increase sales and profitability in a sustainable way.
- Elevate GCE team’s risk management maturity through a structured Security Risk Development Plan.
- Design and deploy training programmes, certification pathways, and knowledge-sharing frameworks.
- Mentor Account Directors and programme teams in embedding a risk-based approach.
- Act as thought leader for risk excellence and promote innovation across the organization.
- Create structure, knowledge and methods to continuously work with clients, from a SRM perspective, to develop their security program during the client lifecycle.
- Foster and drive use of digitalized security risk management tools and processes + actively contribute to the practice of digitizing this more
- Support sales teams by identifying clients with potential for risk-based partnerships and transformation.
- Provide expertise during sales discussions, proposals, and client workshops.
- Contribute risk insights to solution design and managed services opportunities.
- Strengthen GCE’s commercial positioning by integrating risk intelligence.
- Create a structured approach to engage in consultative sales processes with clients.
Requirements
- Based in Europe; willing to travel frequently.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- At least 10 years of management experience with P&L responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years in security operations and security risk leadership.
- Expertise in physical security, guarding operations, security technologies, SOPs, red teaming, travel risk, event security.
- Knowledge of security intelligence and data analysis.
- Knowledge of cyber-security risk is a plus.
- At least one risk certification: ASIS, ISC2, ISO 31000 or equivalent.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and multicultural communication skills.
- Experience in cross-border operations and senior client engagement.
