About the role
- Participate in rotational assignments across different actuarial functions. This may include placements in product development, valuation, risk management, modeling, or other actuarial opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop models, and provide insights that support business decisions.
- Engage in hands-on projects that drive business outcomes and contribute to the company's strategic goals.
- Participate in mentorship and coaching from experienced actuaries and leaders within the organization.
- Develop and enhance technical skills, including proficiency in actuarial software and tools.
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, honing your communication and presentation skills.
- Work towards becoming an Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries by completing actuarial exams.
Requirements
- Successful track record in a four-year degree program, preferably in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively.
- Excellent communication abilities, including listening, business writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills to balance multiple priorities and accountabilities.
- Preferably completed a minimum of two actuarial exams.
