About the role

  • Design, build and optimize data pipelines and transformations enabling Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, and other enterprise use cases.
  • Research, recommend, implement, and drive changes to evolve architecture and patterns to meet quickly changing data requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, technology teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver data solutions that excite stakeholders and deliver business value.
  • Mentor and consult with team members and other areas to ensure best practices and optimal data solutions are implemented.
  • Leverage data governance and data security tooling, processes, and principles to ensure data is secure, easy to find, trusted, and accessible.
  • Devise technical solutions to drive business outcomes based on an understanding of customers, business processes and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on, professional experience working in Data Engineering.
  • Experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as ETL, data storage options, data quality, working with structured and unstructured data.
  • ANSI SQL Skills/Experience
  • Cloud knowledge and experience – AWS and Snowflake preferred
  • Programming experience - Python or Java preferred.
